Where are the products manufactured?

All clothing and accessories are handmade in house by our team. We pride ourselves in the fact that all of Dottie & Mae’s products are made in the USA.

Where do you get your fabric and materials?

At Dottie & Mae, our mission is to reduce our carbon footprint and give textile waste a second life. Our fabrics are all 100% reclaimed textile waste. They may be recycled, deadstock, remnants, thrifted, and even up-cycled/repurposed from vintage clothing and/or household linens (such as sheets, drapes, tablecloths, etc). Many of our notions and trims are also sourced this way, while others are purchased new.

Where do you get your dress patterns?

All of our clothing patterns are developed by Dottie & Mae founder, Kalissa Crawford. While there may be unintentional similarities to other brands, all of our patterns are 100% uniquely Dottie & Mae. This means you just can’t find our dresses anywhere else. Certain artistic liberties may be taken when designing some of our “One of a Kind” pieces, so they may not perfectly match all other dresses of the same type, but this should never affect sizing. Just one more reason why our handmade dresses are extra special and unique!
